Sea to Sky Heritage Fair
Scottish country dancers - Heritage Fair 2012An evening of free family fun is in store at the annual Sea to Sky Heritage Fair! Sponsored by the North Vancouver Museum and Archives, the fair showcases local G. 4 - G. 10 students’ creative understandings of Canada’s past in a festive atmosphere. Over 50 projects will be on display against a backdrop of Celtic and Persian music, Scottish country dancing and a host of engaging activities – from heritage hat making to gold panning – for all ages to enjoy. The Fair will take place on Friday, May 10 between 6 – 8:30 pm at the Lynn Valley Main Library and Village.

Easter Eggtravaganza - March 30th
The bunnies will go missing on March 30th and you are invited to participate in the search.
Will Stroet, children entertainer is going to perform from 11 am - 12 pm. We are also going to have a craft station and balloon for the kids in addition to the annual bunny search.
Last year was a perfect day for bunny search because of the beautiful spring weather. Check out photos we took and the video were some local boys do a spontaneous dance.

Happy New Year greeting from Lynn Valley Village
As a year comes to an end it is customary to look back, reflect and appreciate before looking forward to the new year. Last year, 2012 was a busy year for us here at Lynn Valley Village and a lot to recall.
In March we opened this website www.lynnvalleyvillage.com that we use as a portal for news and information about the Village, its merchants and lease opportunities. This site is an addition to the Facebook and Twitter sites that both are increasing in popularity. We would love it if you would like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter if you haven't already done so.
On a beautiful spring day in April the Easter bunnies were on the loose and the children of Lynn Valley, accompanied by adults, gathered to locate them. Great event that we named Easter Eggstravaganza and will hopefully be as successful this year. On April 21th the Botto team sponsored a Family fitness event in support of Family Services North Shore hosted by Zazou Salon & Spa and Equal Balance Fitness. Another health related event was held in the end of April the Healthy Living Fair where various organizations and companies in Lynn Valley displayed their offering.
The Village Shopping Event - November 15th
This Thursday marks the start of the holiday shopping season in the Village with exciting events in many of the stores.
Posy is hosting their Holiday Open House between 6 - 8 pm. Perfect time to shop their new Christmas giftware and home décor, and preview a selection of floral arrangements and wreaths available to order for the holiday season. Cake Tease will offer samples of their cupcakes and Rogers' will be providing chocolates from their Christmas collection. You have a chance to enter a draw to win a wreath for your door and collect double Posy Points on all purchases.

Sugar and co. will be doing handmade caramel tasting from 6pm - 8pm. They offer also various Candy Gift Baskets fitting for everyone on your list.
Nourish Market will also be open until 8pm. They will be featuring demos from Domenico Fiore Olive Oil as well as assorted beverages and cheese samplings in addition will be taking pre-orders for their super popular Seasonal Gift Basket program.
