This year you can make the day extra special by entering your mother, grandmother or yourself (if you are a mother) into the Mother's Day Contest at Lynn Valley Village on our Facebook page.  All you need to do is to Like the Facebook page and then enter the contest.  

You may enter once but if you would like to increase her / your chances please share the contest with your sibling and family and they can enter the contest as well.

Sea to Sky Heritage Fair - May 9th

Heritage Fair2014The Annual Sea to Sky Regional Heritage Fair, Friday May 9th 6pm - 8pm - Lynn Valley Main Library and Village.
Free family Fun where students showcase their Canadian history projects in a community atmosphere of song, dance and fun.

Join us in Lynn Valley Village Plaza for a community celebration that will bring together students and their families from across the North Shore to celebrate local and Canadian history. Starting at 6pm the plaza outside of the Lynn Valley Library will come alive with music, activities and family fun. Beginning with the Lynn Valley Black Bear Band, families can come out to enjoy the music, view the students’ projects and participate in heritage activities.  The evening will conclude with the closing ceremonies, scheduled to get underway at about 7:30pm.

A Lynn Valley Christmas 2013

3rd Annual Christmas Tree Walk - Lynn ValleyClick the picture to see the posterLynn Valley Community Association and Lynn Valley Village are pleased host the 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Walk.  

This year there will be a special lighting ceremony on December 1 where our Mayor will light the tree with a special performances by Bobbi Smith and Lynn Valley United Choir.  There will also be Face Painters and Santa Claus will make an appearance.  LVCA will also have an Open House with seasonal goodies in the community room.

December 21 - 22 will be very special in the village with lots of performances and kids activities.
