Zazou presents Jane Iredale Make up Evening
We at Zazou Salon & Spa are super excited about our up and coming Jane Iredale Make up Evening on the 14th of November between 6 and 9 pm at the Lynn Valley Library.
We will showcase the beauty in all women and achieve a fashion inspired look this season.
We will explore the line of natural, long-wearing mineral foundations that nourish and protect your skin while showing you your most even, fresh complexion. Discover concealers that reveal your beauty instead of just concealing it. All created in different formulations to suit your needs, and in shades to flatter a wide range of skin tones. We are delighted that we will have a guest speaker Ruben Potrebenko accompany us. Ruben is the national Brand Educator & Makeup Artist for Jane Iredale Canada and is an acclaimed make-up artist with over 28 years with professional experience in beauty, fashion, print and television.
Ruben will talk about fall and holiday trends and will give demonstrations along with tips and techniques. We will have our own make-up artists on hand to give everyone who attends the event a make-up touch up throughout the evening.
The event is $30 dollar for a ticket to reserve your spot. $15 can be applied to any make up purchase that evening and then $15 dollars will be donated to the Save Your Skin Foundation. The Save Your Skin Foundation is a community of volunteers determined to eliminate melanoma through research and education, and dedicated to those touched by it. It’s a local foundation right here on the North Shore that is committed to providing patients with melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer information and treatment options. We chose to support such an amazing local foundation because Jane Iredale Mineral products are certified by the Skin Cancer Foundation because of the SPF found in many of their products.

Halloween at Lynn Valley Village
Superheros, Ghosts, Goblins, Princesses and everything in between are welcome at the Lynn Valley Village on Halloween Thursday, October 31 between 4 and 6 pm.
Come out an Trick or Treat in the Village. We will have crafts table and face painting and plenty of treats in participating stores.
Zazou Salon & Spa Academy participates in the H2H 2013 – Annual Fundraiser Gala
On October 20th, the fourth annual H2H Fundraiser Gala, will be hosted at Celebrities Nightclub. To date this event has raised over $60,000. The Greater Vancouver Salon Owners Network, The Fab 7, are continuing to join together for a day of giving back to the community and to the throw one of the greatest parties in the city. H2H is simply ”what collectively, a group of like minded individuals can accomplish, and a celebration of the industry we love.”
We are proud to be able to give back to those most in need.
All proceeds from services booked at Zazou Salon & Spa will go towards The Children’s Hospital and PKU Research. There will be awesome beverages, and complimentary make-up touchups available throughout the day.
Don’t want to miss out on the party? Tickets to attend the party at Celebrities are available at the front desk for $20 but we’re also accepting donations for The Children’s Hospital.

We have 3 age categories. Kids (6-12), Youth (13-18), and Adults (19+)
How does it work?
All video’s will be posted on Facebook on September 16th. Votes will be collected on each video (so get your friends and family to vote for you!).
The top 3 in each category will perform before our celebrity judges during the live event October 5th, 2013 at the Lynn Valley Village.
Our judges for the event will be: Holly Conway- host of the morning show on TheBeat 94.5fm, Karen Lee Batton who made it to the Top 10 on Season 1 of Canadian Idol, and Valerie Biggin, local resident owner of “The Song Rep”.
